Pride of Africa – Khwai River View is a rustic tented safari camp located close to the Khwai village with in the Khwai community. The camp is simple and suitable for guests seeking an Out of Africa safari experience. The Khwai River attracts a multitude of wildlife species. Situated along the eastern border of the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta, Khwai River View is offering guests a luxury traditional safari experience in an area renowned for large concentrations of wildlife.

The exceptional location overlooking the Khwai River into Moremi Game reserve. Being in the true wilderness makes it a regular host to elephant, buffalo, lion leopard, cheetah and wild dogs. This is the perfect location for observing the perennial drama of the African Bushveld and provides for excellent birding opportunities.
Birdlife can be viewed in abundance with exceptional sightings of wildfowl and raptors. Please note our camp is not fenced and animals roam freely in between.
Combine a stay at Khwai River View with a game drive tour of Moremi or a mekoro excursion – offering a true Okavango Delta water based experience. You can also add our mobile boating safari option onto a 3 night stay at Khwai River View.

Description
Main Area/Dining Area: The main tented area has a lounge with comfy sofas, a bar and dining area. Evening drinks can be enjoyed around the camp fire, set overlooking the river into Moremi Game reserve.
Accommodation Description: 12 en suite Safari tents.
Room Facilities / Amenities: Twin and single beds, bed side tables, bedside lamp, bottled mineral water, glasses, cupboard, luggage rack, large open mosquito gauze windows, and large open front door. Two safari chairs with small wooden table on verandah. Towels and bathroom guest amenities are provided. Each tent has a private bathroom, flushing toilet and en-suite outdoor shower. Solar lighting is used for the verandah, bedroom and bathroom area. Daily housekeeping.
Please note there are no charging facilities in the rooms. If you’d like to charge your phone, camera or laptop you are welcome to do so at the main area. The camp’s power is supplied by solar power.
Our rooms and main area are all NO smoking zones.
Food: A set menu is freshly prepared daily by our bush Chef.
Drinks: Excluded. We currently do not have credit card facilities. We accept Pula, Rand, Euro, US Dollar and Pound.
The only provider that offers cell phone reception here is Be Mobile. There is NO Wi-Fi connection.
